Why should I listen to the data?

Data doesn’t lie but it also won’t hold your hand either.

Data is that friend who is always going to tell you the truth if you treat them well.

Listening to the data will only bring you closer to your business. Watching those numbers go up and down will help the business make better decisions about its future.

No matter if you’re big or small data is all around us. We may have to document it manually but that is very rare these days. Most data comes from our online presence and the products we are selling. It can also come from our internal network like employees and operational expenses. Once a business realizes there is so much data to ingest it has to find ways to simplify it.

“The world is now awash in data and we can see consumers in a lot clearer ways.”

 Max Levchin, PayPal co-founder.

It’s fascinating once you unravel the databases and present it in visual aids. It almost creates this sense of vision knowing your data is on your side.

It is important for one member of the team or a whole team in your company to focus on the correct data so these visual aids can be presented. Bad data is also good data, so figuring out a way to document customer concerns, customer insights and customer interactions is crucial. These numbers tell us how well our customers are responding.

I love looking deep into the data and finding pieces of the puzzle. It is the way everyone on your team will be on the same page and continue to understand the vision of the business.
